2014: Complete renovation and expansion of the sales premises. The basement storage room is accessed via a staircase and also used as a sales area.
This results in the spatial separation of the various departments:

• UG - Bed Studio and iLifeSPA
• Ground floor - s. Oliver shop in shop on 300 m2, Bernina shop, underwear
• OG - Floor coverings, curtains, sun protection and insect protection

09.01.2001: Erica Blarer becomes a member of the Board of Directors

1998: Expansion of the 1st floor showroom floor coverings curtains with new winter garden for the presentation of sun protection systems.

06.08.1993: Erwin Bernet becomes a member of the Board of Directors

03.02.1989: Oscar Bernet Jr. becomes Chairman of the Board of Directors and takes over the management

1994: Expansion of the shop. 1,000 m³ of rock are quarried and the shop space is expanded to 360 m².

1986: Extension of the entire commercial building and construction of two attic apartments.

1968/1969: A long-held business goal of Oscar Bernet's becomes reality. A complete renovation transforms the five individual shops into a modern textile and interior design store.

November 24, 1965: The sole proprietorship Oscar Bernet is transformed into Oscar Bernet AG, a family stock corporation.

February 28, 1955: With a view to relocating the business on Obergasse to the town on Hauptstrasse, the opportunity arose to purchase property 97b near the town hall, consisting of a residential building with an annex and two shops.

August 25, 1953: Sophie Bernet-Hässig sells her parents' part of the house to her husband Oscar Bernet-Hässig.

1948: A new, modern display window is built. At the same time, the store is updated to reflect the times.

1944: After acquiring the southern part of the building, the store was redesigned. The shop was relocated to the main "Schmucki" section, the forecourt and entrance were redesigned, and the store was rebuilt.

January 18, 1943: Oscar Bernet-Hässig acquires the southern part of the property on Obergasse from Rosali Schmucki.

1934: Shop in the old part of the house is expanded and renovated.

September 27, 1924: Oscar Bernet from "Fridau" in Gommiswald married Sophie Hässig. Together, they ran the small business under the new name Oscar Bernet - Hässig.

May 31, 1924: Josef Hässig sold the property on Obergasse, including the linoleum and cloth shop, to his daughter Sophie Hässig.

October 6, 1890: Merchant Josef Hässig acquires the property on Obergasse in Uznach. It includes a part of the house, a courtyard, and the garden. He lays the foundation stone for what is now the Oscar Bernet specialty store, which also includes a small linoleum and cloth shop.
